The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is an American military and maritime history museum showcasing a collection of museum ships in New York City, including the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid. Visitors get to examine original artifacts, view historic video footage, and explore interactive exhibits.

Heading from the Intrepid on 46th Street, one will come across the Landmark Tavern at 11th Avenue which is one of the city’s oldest bars that has been in operation since 1868. It began as an Irish waterfront saloon and over the years, turned into a speakeasy. 

Manhattan’s West side backyard, the Hudson River Park is a 550-acre waterfront park offering lush, verdant spaces that serve as a respite from the city’s hustle and bustle.
